AXIOMTEK SBC84831 Single Board Computer
AXIOMTEK introduced the SBC84831 3.5-inch embedded SBC with Intel Atom N270 processor. The single board computer features an ultra low-power Intel Atom N270 processor (up to 1.6 GHz) with a 533 MHz FSB and the latest Intel 945GSE+ICH7M chipset. The Mobile Intel 945GSE Express chipset includes the latest Intel Integrated Graphics Engine, and the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, which provides enhanced graphics support over the previous generation Graphics and Memory Controller Hubs. Measuring 102 x 146 mm, the SBC84831 is ideal for rugged and compact applications – including digital signage, kiosks/POI, thin clients, digital surveillance, and industrial control. The product is RoHS compliant and will be available around end of March, 2009.
The SBC84831 supports CRT (2048×1536) and LVDS LCD (1600×1200) dual-view displays. One DDR2 SODIMM on board implements up to 2GB of system memory. This 3.5-inch embedded platform comes with advanced connectivity and expansion interfaces including six COM ports (RS-232), four USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit LAN ports, one CompactFlash Type II socket, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, AC’97 Codec audio, two SATA-150 ports, and Digital I/O. Two highly integrated Realtek RTL8111B 10/100/1000 Ethernet controllers feature remote wake-up function to increase cost-efficiency in network maintenance and management. A watchdog timer is included to keep system running smoothly. Moreover, the system only requires +12V DC input.
